About the ProFM

The ProFM is an international credential designed to benefit all facility professionals, regardless of career stage, industry, country. The ProFM Body of Knowledge defines the 19 functional FM knowledge areas and five cross-functional competencies required of today's facility professionals. www.profmi.org

Our approach to teaching the ProFM is a coach-led model, with 7 - 2 1/2 hour virtual classes (16.5 hours of class time). Coach-led classes offer a mix of high-level focused content, group activities, practice quizzes, and other study preparation tools. The success of this model relies on students advanced preparation for class (you need to read the text). Hosting the classes virtually allows you to add the learning into your already busy schedule. The first class in the session is a course kick-off, providing a big picture view of the course material, the online support system, and our syllabus for the remainder of the content classes are scheduled every other week to give you time to read, study and still do manage your other work and family commitments. We also have a lot of fun in class too!

What is the Value of a Coach Led Course?

You can read the material, take the quizzes and study for the assessments on your own, but having a knowledgeable FM industry instructor helps you to focus on the right material, explain concepts that may be new to you and help you stay accountable. We will stick with you through the entire process from instruction through your assessments. We provide you with test taking strategies, tips and practice questions all to help you achieve your goal of earning your ProFM Credential.
